Amir Khan v Phil Lo Greco
Amir Khan (31-4 , 19 KOs) makes his comeback against Canadian Phil Lo Greco (28-3 , 15 KOs) and to be brutally honest this fight looks to be a cherry picked opponent for Khan so he can ease his way back in before going on to face better quality opposition n, Greco isnt a bad a bad boxer but he's lacking in the power department , which is something Khan would want to avoid seeing as he seems to have a glass jaw and has a tendencey to go down when hit with a good punch ! Khan should take this , he's by far the better of the two boxers and his speed and accuracy should see him through this but there are two nagging doubts i have , the first is obviously the inability to take a good hard punch and the second is the fact he hasnt been in a ring for quite a while but im happy to take it on trust that hes fit and well and keen to get on with things. I think Khan takes this with the minimum of fuss.

Carl Frampton v Nonito Donaire
Carl Frampton (24-1 , 14 KOs) looked decent enough last time out when seeing off Horacio Garcia and putting his loss to Leo Santa Cruz firmly behind him and he'll be looking for an equally dominant performance against Nonito Donaire (38-4 , 24 KOs) and despite the fact that Donaire isnt going to be a pushover i fully expect The Jackal to have too much for the older fighter. Donaire can certainly punch and if he catches Frampton cleanly then there could well be an upset , but i cant see it happening , i think Frampton will play it cagey and smart and look to outbox Donaire

Jermall Charlo v Hugo Centeno Jr
Jermall Charlo (26-0 , 20 KOs) was due to meet Hugo Centeno Jr (28-1 , 14 KOs) on March 3rd but due to an injured rib the fight has been re scheduled for April 21st. Charlo , for me , is one of the best middleweights around at the moment , he's a heavy puncher and knows how to set his opponent up for that knockout blow. It wont be all plain sailing though as Centeno Jr is no slouch as has a decent punch of his own , as was evident in his last fight when he dropped Aleem in the 3rd round with a brutal left hook. He's a competent boxer with fast feet and hands but he's susceptible to a good counter puncher , something that im sure Charlo and his team will have noticed and will act on. Im expecting a decent fight with this one with Charlo patiently waiting to land the big punch and Centeno Jr hitting and running , but along the way Charlo will have landed plenty of heavy blows and i think by the middle of the fight this will have taken its toll on Centeno Jr , if not before

Gervonta Davis (19-0 , 18 KOs) meets Jesus Cuellar (28-2 , 21 KOs) for the WBA super world , super-featherweight title , and it has to be said that i have been highly impressed by what i've seen of Davis to date. He's got good footwork and head movement and works well on the inside , getting in and out quickly , he's a very heavy hitter , and is very aggressive and tends to pressure his opponents , which really does suit his aggressive style , he never lets the pressure drop as is evident by the fact that all bar one of his fights has ended by stoppage , by the 8th round ! Cuellar is no mug , but he could have his work cut out against Davis , especially when you take into consideration that he hasnt fought since December 2016 when losing to Abner Mares , before that his last fight was in December of 2015 , in my opinion two fights in two and a half years probably isnt the best preperation for a fighter like Davis , who as i said is aggressive and relentless with his pressure and full on , and hes a busy fighter (3 fights last year) so for ring form definatley has the edge over his opponent. As i say though Cuellar isnt a mug fighter , he has good solid punching power in both hands and has quick hands and feet , but he does tend to be a bit reckless at times , throwing loads of punches looking for the knockout , which does leave him open for a counter but one thing he does possess is a decent chin , and if one of those wild punches connects cleanly 9 times out of 10 the opponent ends up on the canvas. The way these two fight this bout looks all set to be a good fight to watch imo , if they both fight to the best of their ability , both have negatives coming into this , Cuellar's main one , as ive already said , is his lack of proper ring time , and his tendency to throw haymakers at times , whilst Davis , for all his good points , can be sluggish and lazy at times , something he cant afford to do , if Cuellar comes into this in tip top shape. Weighing everything up , i'm going to go for the younger , up n coming Davis , i just think he'll be too much for Cuellar after his ring absence.

Saturday 12th May - Vasyl Lomachenko v Jorge Linares

Mouthwatering clash between two great boxers , and this has the potential to be a classic given how good these two are , Lomachenko (10-1 , 8 KOs) and Linares (44-3 , 27 KOs) meet for the world lightweight title and i cant wait to be honest , pound for pound imho these are two of the best boxers out there today. Linares has long been one of my favourites , hes won his last 13 fights and is defending his belt for the 4th time , he has phenomonal hand speed along with good overall movement , and he puts together good solid combinations. If i have one concern regarding Linares its with his chin as all three losses have come by way of knock out and Lomachenko has very heavy hands and im sure he will give Linares chin its sternest test to date. From what i have seen of Lomachenko to date i just cant see any flaws if im being honest , he looks the complete package and looks to have the talent to dominate for many a year , he has a very good boxing brain as well which he utilises well , he can adapt and control a fight as its going along and i can see him causing Linares a few problems here. As i said a fight im really looking forward to and definitley one to enjoy but for me Lomachenko wins.

Saturday 2nd June - George Groves v Callum Smith

Groves (28-3 , 20 KOs) meets Smith (24-0 , 17 KOs) for the WBA (super) super middleweight title and this is also the final of the boxing super series. As i have said before Groves is one of my favourite British boxers , and he's coming off the back of a great win over Eubank Jr , as ive also said before hes a great boxer but tends to brawl which is great to watch but edge of the seat stuff at times as you're always waiting for him to get caught ! But he did use his boxing skills and his brain to their fullest against Eubanks Jr and it paid dividends .. he was alot more methodical , clinical and assured and if he comes into this fight with the same sort of gameplan then i think Smith is going to have huge problems. Smith is a decent enough boxer but this will be his biggest fight to date , he is yet to taste defeat , hes a big super middleweight with heavy hands and he throws quick solid combinations , but i have to say he disappointed me last time in the semi finals , yes he won and he dominated , but overall i think he should of done alot better against a much less experienced opponent than he did , and i honestly think he is going to have alot of problems against Groves if he boxes like that again and Groves boxes like he did in his previous fight. It should be a decent fight to watch but if Groves is properly over his shoulder injury and fights like he did against Eubanks Jr then i can only see one outcome in this fight

Well i did do a write up about this one already but then Haye got injured again and i'm seriously beginning to doubt my original selection and bet if i'm being totally honest. As i said in my original write up if Haye comes into this totally match fit and 100% then i can see him gaining his revenge over Bellew , but after his latest injury that has now gotta be a HUGE if , surely ?! As i wrote before Bellew will be trying to take this into the later stages where his chances will be greatly enhanced , but he does have to avoid Hayes 'Hayemakers' as theres no doubt the fella can pack a helluva punch and i can see Haye really trying to end this early doors but Bellew is adept at boxing and throwing punches from distance and i can see him successfully keeping out of range and dragging Haye into the later rounds where i think Haye will probably tire , so i'm changing my mind and now going for Bellew to win , probably by decision as i really cant see him knocking Haye out although given Hayes proneness to injury a TK0 could well be on the cards again.

Saturday 16th June - Errol Spence v Carlos Ocampo

Spence (23-0 , 20 KOs) meets Mexican Ocampo (22-0 , 13 KOs) for the IBF welterweight title , and despite the fact that they have similair records theres a world of distance between them imho and this looks , in my eyes , to be a total mismatch as i think Spence is one of the best pound for pound boxers out there at the moment. He's stopped his last 10 opponents and i can see Ocampo being the 11th if im being honest , Ocampo is a decent enough boxer but he's never met anyone of Spence's calibre and skill , and whilst i can see him holding his own for a few rounds i can really only see one outcome here.

Mouthwatering clash between two great boxers , and this has the potential to be a classic given how good these two are , Lomachenko (10-1 , 8 KOs) and Linares (44-3 , 27 KOs) meet for the world lightweight title and i cant wait to be honest , pound for pound imho these are two of the best boxers out there today. Linares has long been one of my favourites , hes won his last 13 fights and is defending his belt for the 4th time , he has phenomonal hand speed along with good overall movement , and he puts together good solid combinations. If i have one concern regarding Linares its with his chin as all three losses have come by way of knock out and Lomachenko has very heavy hands and im sure he will give Linares chin its sternest test to date. From what i have seen of Lomachenko to date i just cant see any flaws if im being honest , he looks the complete package and looks to have the talent to dominate for many a year , he has a very good boxing brain as well which he utilises well , he can adapt and control a fight as its going along and i can see him causing Linares a few problems here. As i said a fight im really looking forward to and definitley one to enjoy but for me Lomachenko wins.

Lee Selby (26-1 , 9 KOs) defends his IBF world featherweight belt against mandatory challenger Josh Warrington (26-0 , 6 KOs) , im a big fan of Selbys to be honest , hes a very good boxer , with a good technical brain on him , hes not flashy , and he doesnt knock many people out but he knows what hes doing , hes patient , pressures his opponents into making mistakes and does enough to win the bout , which is probably why hes been called the Welsh Mayweather ! Warrington beat the decent Dennis Ceylan last time , but for me , this is a big step up in class for the challenger , hes never faced anyone of Selbys class and ability in my opinon . Warrington is the more aggressive of the pair , has fast hands and a solid defence and if he can dictate the pace of the fight then he could rattle Selby , but for that to happen Selby would have to be off his game and i cant see that happening.
